You can add a testimonial directly to your library at any time without a collection link. This is useful for testimonials you already have or reviews shared outside of Endors.

Starting the flow

Go to My Testimonials in the left sidebar and click New Testimonial.

A dialog appears with two options:

• Generate a collection link — sends a request to your clients so they can submit a testimonial themselves.

• Add manually — lets you upload a file or enter a text review directly.

Click Add Manually to proceed.

Step 1: Choose the testimonial type

After clicking Add Manually, you can either upload a file or add a text review.

Upload a file

Click the upload area or drag a file onto it. Endors detects the type from the file you upload:

• Video files become video testimonials.

• Image files (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, SVG, AVIF) become image testimonials.

• Everything else (PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, RTF, Markdown, PPT, PPTX) becomes a document testimonial.

Add a text review

Click Add Text to create a text testimonial without a file. You will enter the testimonial content in the form on the next step.

Step 2: Fill in the details

Once your file has uploaded, or after you clicked Add Text, the detail form opens.

Testimonial name

At the top of the form is an editable title field with the placeholder Untitled testimonial. Endors fills this automatically: it uses the file name (without extension) for uploaded files, or the client's first name followed by "testimonial" when linked to a client. You can change it at any time.

Link to an existing client

Click Link to an existing client to attach this testimonial to someone already in your client database. A search panel opens where you can find clients by name, email, or phone number. Once you select a client, their details are pulled into the form. To remove the link, click Unlink in the linked client banner.

Testimonial content (text type only)

For text testimonials, a Testimonial field appears in the form. This field is required for text testimonials.

Personal section

• Profile Picture (optional) — upload or drop an image

• Rating — 5-star rating (optional)

• First Name (required when not linked to a client)

• Last Name

• Job Title

• Location

• Product

Company section

• Company Logo — accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP, SVG, AVIF

• Company Name

• Company Website

Contact section

• Email

• Phone

Custom fields

If you have defined custom client fields in Settings > Custom Fields, they appear at the bottom of the form.

Saving

Click Save testimonial at the bottom of the form. The testimonial is added to your library immediately in the section that matches its type.
