Client-Specific Links

A client-specific link is a collection link tied to one specific client. When the client opens the link, the form is prefilled with their details from your client database. It works the same as any other collection link — the same form, the same submission flow — but it is personalized to one person.

Creating a personal request link

There are two ways to create one.

From the Links page

  1. Go to My Collection Links in the left sidebar.

  2. Click New Link and choose Client-specific.

  3. In Step 1, search for the client by name, email, or phone number and select them.

  4. Continue through the remaining steps to configure and generate the link.

From a client's record

  1. Go to Clients in the left sidebar and open a client's record.

  2. Click Create collection link.

  3. The client is pre-selected automatically and the first step is skipped. Continue to configure and generate the link.

How it works for the recipient

When the client opens the link, the Customer Details page in the form is prefilled with the information you already have for them — their name, email, company, and any other fields that have matching data in your client database.

The client can still edit any of the prefilled fields before submitting. The prefilled data is a starting point, not locked in.

The rest of the form works the same as a general collection link. After submission, the testimonial is linked to that client in your database.

Identifying personal request links

On the My Collection Links page, client-specific links are shown with a Client-specific label in their detail view, along with the name of the linked client.
