Once an embedding is installed on your website, you do not need to reinstall the snippet when you make changes. The iframe URL stays the same, and the server rebuilds the embed from the current state of your space every time the page loads.

What updates automatically on your live site

Changes that take effect on your website without any action from you:

• Adding, removing, or reordering testimonials inside an embedding

• Toggling the embedding between Active and Inactive

• Turning Endors Branding on or off

• Editing the template's colors, layout, spacing, or any other config options

Change that does not update automatically:

• Switching to a different template. The template tied to an embedding cannot be changed after creation. To use a different template, delete the embedding and create a new one.

Caching and timing

Embeds are served with a short cache. After you make a change, it may take up to 30 to 60 seconds for it to appear on your website. Image-heavy embeds may take slightly longer due to a longer stale window.

This is normal behavior. You do not need to do anything to trigger the update.

When you accept a submission

If a collection link is connected to an embedding as a destination, accepting a submission from that link automatically adds the testimonial to the embedding. No manual steps are needed.

If the embedding is using a template that has a maximum testimonial limit (for example, Three Frames supports a maximum of 3), the new testimonial will not be added once that limit is reached. You will receive a notification in the app:

Embedding limit reached

"{embedding name}" already has {n} testimonial(s) — new submissions from "{link name}" won't be added to it.

You can configure whether you receive this notification in Space Settings under Notifications.

To make room, go to the embedding, click Edit, remove a testimonial, and save.

Previews inside the app

There are two different preview surfaces:

Template editor preview — shows a live preview that updates instantly as you change settings. It uses placeholder sample testimonials, not your actual library. This lets you see what any template looks like before committing to it.

Create embedding preview (Step 2) — when you are creating a new embedding and choosing a template, the preview uses the actual testimonials you selected in Step 1. It updates live as you select different templates and switch card styles.

Snippet panel preview — the preview shown in the Installation Snippet panel loads the real embed URL, exactly as it appears on your website. When you toggle Endors Branding, the preview reloads to reflect the change.
