Templates control how your testimonials look inside an embedding. The My Templates page is where you manage, customize, and import display templates. Access it by clicking Templates in the left sidebar.

The templates list

Templates are grouped into sections: Video, Text, Image, Document, Swappable, and Cards. Each card shows a preview thumbnail, the template name, and a type badge. System templates that have not been customized show a Locked badge.

Click a template card to open the editor.

Open the action menu on any card to access:

• Rename — rename this template

• Edit — open the editor

• Duplicate — create a copy with a new name

• Delete — permanently remove the template

The Template Library

Click Template Library in the page header to browse all available system templates. Filter by type using the tabs: All, Video, Image, Text, Document, Swappable, Cards.

Click the preview icon on any template to see a live preview. Click Add to import it into your space. Once imported, the button changes to Added.

Importing a Swappable template automatically imports all the card partials it needs.

The editor

The editor opens as a full-screen panel with three zones:

Left: Preview pane — shows a live preview of the template that updates instantly as you change settings. The preview uses sample placeholder testimonials, not your library. The pane is resizable: drag the right edge to make it wider or narrower. The current width in pixels is shown in the header.

Right: Settings pane — shows the template name field and all customization options, grouped into labeled sections. Every change updates the preview immediately.

Header — shows the template name, the current preview width, the Save button, and a Save as new template option to fork the template under a different name.

Saving

Click Save to apply your changes. The template updates immediately on all embeddings that use it. If you want to keep the original and save a variation, click Save as new template and give it a name.

If you close the editor with unsaved changes, a dialog asks you to confirm: You have unsaved changes. If you close the editor now, they will be lost.

Swappable templates and cards

Swappable templates are shells that display individual testimonial cards. The card design is separate from the shell and can be swapped without changing the overall layout.

In the editor, Swappable templates show a Card Style row above the settings groups. Click a pill to switch the card variant and see how it looks in the preview. Card variants include: Gradient Text, Elegant Text, Black Modern Text, Vertical Modern Text, Modern Video, Classic Video.

The Cards section in the templates list shows the card partials as standalone templates. You can edit a card's layout and styles there, and the changes apply everywhere that card is used.
