The Review Workflow

The Review Workflow

When someone submits a testimonial through one of your collection links, it does not go straight to your testimonials library. It arrives as a pending submission that you review first. You decide whether to accept or reject it.

The exception is when Auto-approve is enabled on a collection link. In that case, submissions from that link are accepted automatically and added directly to your library without any manual step.

Getting to the review queue

Pending submissions are collected on the Submission Reviews page. There is no sidebar link to it directly. Access it by clicking the To Review button, which appears in the toolbar on:

  • The My Collection Links page

  • The My Testimonials page

The button shows a count of how many submissions are waiting. When there are pending submissions, the button is highlighted in amber.

The Submission Reviews page

The page is titled Submission Reviews with the subtitle: "Accept or reject submissions to create testimonials."

Submissions are shown in a table. The table opens on the Pending filter by default. Use the filter tabs at the top to switch between views:

  • Pending — submissions waiting for your decision

  • Accepted — submissions you have approved

  • Rejected — submissions you have declined

  • All — every submission regardless of status

Each tab shows the count for that status.

What each row shows

Each row in the table includes:

  • Type — Video, Image, Text, or Document

  • Submitter — the reviewer's name and email

  • Preview — a short excerpt of text, a video thumbnail with duration, an image thumbnail, or a document link

  • Link — the name of the collection link the submission came through

  • Submitted — the date and time of submission

  • Status — Pending, Accepted, or Rejected

Click any row to open a full preview panel with the submitter's details and the testimonial content.

Realtime updates

The page updates automatically when new submissions arrive. You do not need to refresh.

Flow from submission to testimonial

  1. A customer submits through a collection link.

  2. Their submission appears on Submission Reviews under Pending.

  3. You review it and click Accept.

  4. Endors creates a testimonial in your library, links it to the submitter as a client, and attaches it to any folders or embeddings configured on that collection link.

  5. The submission moves to the Accepted tab and the testimonial is visible in My Testimonials.
